Ziad R.

Ziad R. has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Ziad began their career in 2000 as Director of Regulatory & Clinical Affairs at Guidant Cardiac Surgery. Ziad then moved to Codman (A J&J Company) in 2003 as Director of Global Regulatory Affairs and in 2005 they became Director of Regulatory Affairs at Evalve, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Abbott Vascular, Inc.). From 2011 to 2013, Ziad worked at Avinger Inc. as Vice-President, Regulatory, Clinical & Quality Affairs and then moved to AUXOGYN Inc. in 2013, where they held the same position. In 2013, they joined Altura Medical Inc. as Vice-President, Regulatory, Clinical and Quality Affairs and in 2014 they became Vice-President, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs at PQ Bypass, Inc. In 2017, Ziad joined JUUL Labs as Vice-President, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs and in 2019 they became President and CEO of BIOMODEX.

Ziad R. began their educational journey at McGill University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General in 1991. Ziad then continued their studies at McGill University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1993. Ziad then attended Rutgers Law School, where they earned a Doctor of Law in 1996.
