Technical Application Scientist II - EMEA at Bionano Genomics

Ana Ching López is a Technical Applications Scientist II at Bionano since July 2021, providing applications support and scientific expertise in the EMEA region. Previous experience includes roles as a Technical Applications Scientist at Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at CIBER in Epidemiology and Public Health, focusing on cancer epidemiology and prevention. Ana also worked at the University of Cambridge as a Research Assistant within the Genomics Core, delivering Next-Generation Sequencing services and improving research methodologies related to cancer genomics. Early career roles include Chief Research Technician at a Cancer Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory and several research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Granada, complemented by international experience as a Visiting PhD Student at King's College London. Ana Ching López holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and two Master's degrees in Genetics and Evolution and Physical and Forensic Anthropology, along with a graduate degree in Biology from Universidad de Granada.
