Bahar Sutorius

Bahar Sutorius currently serves as the Vice President of Development at Bionaut Labs since January 2025. Prior to this role, Bahar was the Vice President of Operations at Portal Insulin LLC from December 2021 to July 2024, focusing on vendor management and negotiation. From May 2017 to December 2021, Bahar held the position of VP Operations & Engineering at Caldera Medical, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory, and engineering teams. Bahar also served as VP Operations at a medical device startup from February 2016 to December 2018, where strategic business development for a novel product platform was key. Earlier experience includes roles at Medtronic, beginning as Director of Engineering Operations from January 2008 to February 2016, and encompassing responsibilities in both engineering and operations. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and graduate work in Chemistry at the University of California, Davis.
