Kelly Wallis

Kelly Wallis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in music therapy and education as well as advocacy for rare diseases. Currently serving as a columnist for BioNews Services since October 2019, Kelly shares insights on parenting a child with Sanfilippo Syndrome. Simultaneously, Kelly has worked as a music therapist for Klein Independent School District since February 2015 and has held the position of organist at St. Mary's Episcopal Church since June 2001. Aside from teaching private piano lessons since January 2000, Kelly previously instructed at Cy-Fair Music and Arts and was involved in Kindermusik and Drama Kids programs. Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Texas.
