Oluwatosin Adesoye is a seasoned medical professional and advocate specializing in sickle cell disease management. Currently serving as a Sickle Cell Disease Columnist for BioNews Inc. since January 2023, Oluwatosin also holds the position of Executive Director at SICKLELIVE FOUNDATION, an NGO dedicated to the comprehensive care of individuals with sickle cell disease. In addition, Oluwatosin is the Chief Administrator and Community Engagement Manager for SICKLE CELL CELEBS, overseeing team dynamics and group objectives. With extensive experience at State Specialist Hospital Asubiaro as a Medical Doctor and Sickle Cell Program Coordinator, Oluwatosin manages patient care and conducts clinical lectures. Furthermore, as a Sickle Cell Advocate since June 2014, Oluwatosin promotes health equity and public awareness regarding sickle cell disease, underpinned by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
