Mauro Dimastrogiovanni has held a variety of positions in the engineering field. From 2013 to 2016, they were the Technical Leader of Salento Racing Team at the Università del Salento, where they were responsible for the design, production and optimization of a formula style vehicle for international events and competitions. Their experience was focused on engine, drivetrain, suspensions and steering systems. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Junior Design Engineer at Dallara. In 2019, they held two positions simultaneously: Head of Mechanical Engineering Department at BionIT Labs and Ricercatore at Università del Salento, where they were responsible for the design and development of hardware and software solutions aimed to improve the level of driving automation of ground vehicles for extraplanetary and agricultural applications.
Mauro Dimastrogiovanni received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Università del Salento in 2014, and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2017.
