Andreas Sommer

Andreas Sommer has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and medical research field. Andreas worked at BioNTech IMFS, starting in July 2019, initially as a Scientist and later becoming the Head of QC Vector Analytics & Bioassays in May 2021. Prior to this, they were a PhD Student at the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut from December 2010 to May 2016. Andreas also worked as a Research Fellow at the Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 2009 to 2010.

Andreas Sommer attended Goethe University Frankfurt from 2003 to 2009, where they earned a Diploma in Biochemistry.
