Kim Scheepers

Kim Scheepers is an experienced professional in pharmacovigilance, currently serving as the Head of Pharmacovigilance Safety Systems at BioNTech SE since August 2022, leading a team responsible for managing the Safety Database. Prior roles include Associate Director and Manager of Pharmacovigilance Safety Systems at BioNTech, where responsibilities encompassed Safety System oversight, GxP validation, and system implementation activities. Kim has also worked at Bayer as a Global Pharmacovigilance Case Processor, supporting the implementation of Machine Learning in pharmacovigilance, and gained initial experience at ICON plc as a Drug Safety Associate and Junior Drug Safety Associate. Education includes degrees from The Philipp University of Marburg and RWTH Aachen University.
