Stefan Wilkening is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of biotechnology and genomics. Currently serving as a Scientist at BioNTech SE since January 2019, Stefan previously worked as a Research Scientist focused on NGS Development and Automation at TRON-Translational Oncology from November 2016 to December 2018. Prior roles include Head of New Technologies at the National Center for Tumor Diseases in Heidelberg, where NGS development and automation were key responsibilities, and a PostDoc at EMBL, where Stefan contributed to genome and transcriptome analysis and the development of methods for next-generation sequencing.
