Todd Schaefer

Todd Schaefer, PhD is currently the Senior Director for Scientific Competitive Intelligence and Medical Insights at BioNTech SE. Prior to this role, Todd was the Director for the same department at Sanofi, where Todd headed the Therapeutic Area-based Competitive Intelligence teams. Todd has also held positions at Gerson Lehrman Group, Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, focusing on research related to infectious diseases such as HIV-1 and SIV. Todd holds a PhD in Infectious Disease and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh.
