Yas Findik

Yas Findik serves as the Associate Director of Global AI and Advanced Analytics at BioNTech SE since July 2025. Prior to this role, Yas worked briefly as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on agent-driven strategies for biomedical discovery. A Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell contributed to advancements in multi-agent reinforcement learning and novel algorithm design from September 2021 to March 2025. During a summer position at Novartis, Yas led a sentiment analysis project and built machine learning models for marketing analysis. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at CicekSepeti.com/Lolaflora.com, where leadership of a team focused on developing a product pricing framework. Yas holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and an MSc in Computer Science & Engineering from Sabanci University.
