Asger Dahlgaard

Asger Dahlgaard has extensive work experience in the quality assurance and regulatory affairs field. Asger is currently the Vice President of QA and RA at BioPorto Diagnostics A/S, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Asger worked as the Principal QA Adviser and owner of One QA, where they provided strategic QA advice to businesses and supported them in developing their QA organizations, culture, and processes.

From 2016 to 2021, Asger worked at Agilent Technologies, where they held various roles, including QA compliance and processes Director, QA Operation and Vigilance Manager, and Complaint & Vigilance Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for strategic management of the QA organization, managing teams, providing expertise and services to internal stakeholders, and representing the business on global IT projects.

Before joining Agilent Technologies, Asger worked at Medicologic A/S as a Senior Consultant in QA/RA from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant at AL Engineering, where they provided consulting and project management services in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical devices industry.

Asger's career began at Coloplast A/S in 1999, where they held various roles, including Director Quality Process Development, Director QEHS Concepts, Corporate Quality Development Manager, Validation Coordinator, Quality Engineer, and Project Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for people management, developing quality processes, ensuring compliance, implementing IT tools, and leading various projects.

Throughout their career, Asger has achieved significant accomplishments, such as implementing standardized QEHS tools globally, redesigning and launching websites, expanding jobs with main customers, and establishing effective quality management systems. Asger has also demonstrated strong leadership, successfully managing teams and maintaining high team morale during times of high workload.

Asger Dahlgaard pursued their primary education at Næstved Tekniske Skole from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in HTX with a field of study in mechanical subjects. Following that, from 1995 to 1999, they attended DTU - Technical University of Denmark, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. Additionally, in February 2019, Asger Dahlgaard obtained a certification titled "Being a Good Mentor" from LinkedIn.
