Michael Bertrand

Michael Bertrand is an experienced Animal Behaviorist at BIOQUAL, Inc. since March 2012, with a background in public education and program development from positions at Ecotarium and Massachusetts Academy of Sciences. At Ecotarium, contributions included delivering public animal presentations and outreach programs. As Director of Education at Massachusetts Academy of Sciences, significant achievements included creating corporate identity materials and establishing partnerships with key institutions. Prior experience includes internships at the Smithsonian Institution focusing on primate collections and graphic artist roles at various newspapers, including the Boston Herald and Washington Times, where skills in graphic design and information presentation were honed. Michael Bertrand holds a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from American International College.
