Michelle Stewart

Michelle Stewart has a strong background in payroll and benefits management. Michelle started their career as an Office Administrator at International Courier Consultants in 1993 and then moved on to become a Regional Payroll Manager at Butler International from 1995 to 2000. In this role, they managed payroll and administrative staff in four offices in the Southeast Region. Michelle then became a Division Payroll Manager at Butler International, where they were responsible for setting up processes, coordinating transitions, and managing a new payroll and billing program. Michelle held this position from 2000 to 2003.

Following their time at Butler International, Michelle joined Global Payments as a Senior Payroll Manager from 2003 to 2010. In this role, they oversaw corporate-level, multi-state payroll processing for both US and international employees. Michelle also provided reporting, reconciliation, and customer service, ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws. Additionally, Michelle worked as an Executive Assistant during their time at Global Payments, providing support to various executives and departments.

From 2010 to 2016, Michelle worked at Worldpay US, Inc. as a Payroll Manager. Michelle managed a team of payroll specialists and oversaw all payroll functions for approximately 1,500 employees. This included processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws, and maintaining payroll records. Michelle also handled benefits administration for 401K, FSA, and HSA plans.

Most recently, Michelle has been working at ANDRITZ as a North America Payroll Manager since 2016. In this role, they manage a team of six payroll specialists and is responsible for payroll operations in the US and Canada.

Currently, Michelle is working at Dunn Paper as a Senior Payroll & Benefits Manager. In this role, they oversee payroll and benefits for approximately 700 employees in the US and Canada.

Michelle Stewart attended Dekalb Community College from 1979 to 1981. During their time at the college, they studied English and Biology, but it is unknown whether they obtained a degree in these fields.
