Elvijs Sarkans

Elvijs Sarkans has been working in the technology industry since 2009. Elvijs began their career as an Engineering Intern at Autonams in 2009. In 2014, they joined TAB as a Data Engineer and then as a Senior Data Engineer. In 2018, they moved to PROWLER.io as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2019 they joined Secondmind as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Currently, they are the Machine Learning Engineering Lead at BIOS Health Ltd.

Elvijs Sarkans attended the University of Bath from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematical Sciences. Prior to that, they attended the same university from 2009 to 2010, receiving an MSc in Mathematical Sciences in Mathematics. From 2006 to 2009, they attended the University of Cambridge, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics.
