Jorin Mamen has had a diverse and accomplished career in the energy and health industries. In 2019, they began working as the Canadian Operations Manager for BIOS Health Ltd, where they were responsible for the administration of BIOS Health Canada, including regulatory compliance, payroll and benefits, and project management for pre-clinical trials. In 2018, they were the Regulatory Affairs Officer at Saccade Analytics, where they were responsible for quality system and regulatory affairs and oversaw applications for marketing clearance to the FDA. In 2016, they founded GARÉ Inc., a company created to connect urban-dwelling electric vehicle owners with local electrified parking spots. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Executive Director at BioFuelNet Canada. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Consultant at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where they were responsible for analysis of aviation alternative fuels and produced an annual report on alternative fuels. From 2006 to 2009, they were the Engineering Manager at Whole Energy Fuels.

Jorin Mamen obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University between 1998 and 2003. Jorin then continued their studies at McGill University, obtaining a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. In 2016, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from HEC Montréal. Jorin also holds a Professional Engineer certification from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
