Kajsa Fougner currently serves as the CEO of Biosorbe AB, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Kajsa worked at Renewcell as Plant Manager from October 2019 to April 2024, focusing on process analysis and environmental management at a demonstration plant. From 2014 to October 2019, Kajsa was a Project Manager and Process Consultant at ÅF, and from 2001 to 2014, served as a Process Engineer, Energy Coordinator, Project Manager, and Improvement Leader (Six Sigma Black Belt) at Stora Enso Skoghall Mill, specializing in energy efficiency within the pulp and paper industry. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Systems Engineer at Korsnäs AB, where Kajsa improved quality control systems, and as a university teacher in mathematics and chemistry at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Kajsa holds dual Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and TU Dortmund University, and completed additional professional education in Six Sigma and mentoring programs.

Our mission is to develop new ways of cleaning nature with nature. Our inspiration and goal is to use natural, organic materials in a modern world. We started Biosorbe AB in 2015, and our main focus was to use microorganisms to clean contaminated water and soil from hydrocarbons. Since then, we have developed our portfolio by utilizing resources from the forest to develop an effective absorbent. We are now focusing on GreenAll, a 100% natural absorbent, based on cellulose. Our next step is to scale up our production and market reach. We are also currently developing several new applications for our products, from distinguished oil absorbents to innovative filter solutions. We are now proud to present a unique product for a better world.
