Gabriel Tamayo Ballesteros has a diverse work experience in various scientific and laboratory roles. Gabriel started their career in 2003 as a Técnico Operador de Planta Química at Lacer, where they focused on applying GMP and GDP standards, dosing product mixtures, and supervising packaging and manufacturing lines for solid forms. In 2004, they moved to Alcon, a Novartis company, as a Técnico de Calidad y Operario de Planta, responsible for quality control, inspection, protocol implementation, and modification of manufacturing guidelines. After this, they joined Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) as a Técnico Superior de Laboratorio for two separate roles, one from 2013 to 2014 and another from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Jarabista at Coca-Cola European Partners for a brief period before joining Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) in the same year as a Técnico Superior de Laboratorio until 2019. Presently, they are employed at BioSystems as an R&D Scientist, starting from May 2021.
