Núria Martínez Vallvey

Autoimmunity and veterinary Research Scientist at BioSystems

Núria Martínez Vallvey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Lab Technician at Pius Hospital de Valls, where they were responsible for reception and sample identification, as well as conducting biochemical and hematological analysis. In 2011, they had a Biotechnology Laboratory Internship at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, where they gained experience in tasks such as DNA extraction, nucleic acids electrophoresis, and plasmids enzymatic digestions.

Núria then had a Biomedical Master Internship at IDIBELL in 2015, during which they engaged in various research activities such as maintenance of C. elegans, RNAi assays, chemotherapy treatment, nucleic acids electrophoresis, and PCR. Later in 2015, they joined Grifols as an I+D Instrumentos, focusing on instrument development and research.

Since 2016, they have been working at Biosystems S.A., where they have held two roles. As an Autoimmunity and Veterinary Research Scientist, they are involved in the research related to autoimmune diseases and veterinary applications. Additionally, as a Técnico Comercial de Instrumentos y Reactivos del Sector Agroalimentario, they are responsible for selling instruments and reagents to the agri-food sector.

Núria Martínez Vallvey's education history is as follows:

In 2020, Núria attended La Salle BCN and completed a course in Project Management.

From 2017 to 2019, they pursued an online Master's degree in Reproductive Biology, specializing in the theoretical basis and procedures of Assisted Reproduction, at the University of Valencia.

In 2014 and 2015, they obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a focus on General Biomedicine, from the Universitat de Barcelona.

During 2013 and 2014, Núria attended Westminster Kingsway College to study English as a second or foreign language.

In 2011 and 2012, they pursued a Biotechnology degree (BSc) at the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes.

Lastly, from 2008 to 2012, Núria completed their Biotechnology degree (BSc) with a specialization in Molecular Biotechnology and Biomedicine at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
