Kristen Cleveland

Before joining BioTeam, Kristen worked with early discovery drug researchers and IT technologists at Biogen as the IT Program Manager overseeing the design, implementation, and deployment of the Research Cloud that included high performance compute, networking, and storage. While at Biogen, Kristen was the Program Manager for a large Data Lake implementation and rollout as well as many other Research-focused IT projects. Through the course of overseeing these programs, Kristen developed a passion for working with scientists looking to move the needle of scientific discovery with the use of cutting-edge technology. To help understand the scientific world a little bit better, Kristen enrolled in a genetics and genomics course for non-scientists offered online through Stanford University. Her philosophy on program and project management is that mountains must be moved without killing the villagers in the process. She is a firm believer in Thomas Edison’s quote: “Vision without execution is hallucination.”
