Barbara Poinard

Barbara graduated from Paris Descartes University with a B.Sc in Biomedical Sciences and completed a joint Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Arts et Métiers ParisTech / Paris Descartes University. She undertook her PhD in Biomedical engineering at the NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering during which she studied the properties of a novel polymeric nanomaterial for drug delivery. Barbara has a strong interest in the latest developments in the biotech field and the translation of cutting edge research for unmet medical needs. She is currently an Analyst at Esco Ventures, where she does scientific due diligence in a broad range of topics ranging from gene therapy to digital health. Outside of work, Barbara enjoys reading and traveling.
