Han Teng Wong

Han Teng graduated from Imperial College London with a BSC in Biology and pursued his PhD in Microbiology at UC Berkeley. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Molecular Engineering Lab based in IMCB, A*STAR. His interest lies in developing novel microbial cell factories for protein production using Synthetic Biology to allow for robust and cost-effective protein production in microbes. Currently, he is working on the production of protein-based food ingredients. When not at the bench, Han Teng is usually found behind a book or behind a camera.
