Ilana Kachko

Ilana Kachko possesses extensive experience in the field of biochemistry and biotechnology, currently serving as the R&D Biochemistry Team Leader at SciVac Limited since December 2021, where responsibilities include team management and analytical method development for VLP-based products. Prior to this role, Ilana held various positions at BTG A Ferring Company since September 2011, including Project Manager, Research Associate, and Senior Research Scientist, focusing on analytical methods development and validation. Experience at IBR Ltd. from December 2009 to July 2023 involved project management in R&D, new product development, and quality control representation. Earlier, Ilana worked as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at Ben Gurion University. Education credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, as well as a B.Sc. in Food Technology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
