Charliene Casey's work experience encompasses various roles in the biotechnology and clinical data management field. Charliene began their career as a Database Developer at Veristat in 2005 and then moved on to Perceptive Informatics, where they held the positions of Sr. Application Specialist and later Project Manager. In 2008, they joined Parexel International as a Clinical Programmer Analyst, supporting clinical trials and designing trials for electronic data capture systems. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Thoratec as a Clinical Programmer II, responsible for database development and troubleshooting. Charliene then worked at Medivector Inc as a Sr. Clinical SAS Programmer from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Accelovance, Inc as a Sr Database Programmer, where they provided technical resources and personnel for clinical programming processes. Charliene continued their career at Agenus as a Sr Manager of Clinical Data Management from 2016 to 2017 before joining Merrimack as an Associate Director of Data Management in 2017. Currently, they are working at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization as an Associate Director of Data Management.

Charliene Casey obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Human Services, General from Iowa Central Community College, graduating in 2006. Additionally, Charliene has obtained certifications such as Wrike bronze certification, How to Be More Inclusive, 15 Mistakes to Avoid in Data Science, SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 (CBP), IBM Clinical EDC Designer, MedNet EDC Designer, Medrio EDC Designer, Oracle Inform EDC/Central Coding Designer, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
