Jennifer Fisher

Jennifer Fisher, MBA, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience in human resources. Jennifer is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of People Operations at the same organization starting from March 2022.

From October 2017 to March 2022, Jennifer was the Human Resources Director at Hospice of the Chesapeake.

Before that, they worked at Daikin Applied Americas from July 2012 to October 2017 as a Senior Manager in Human Resources. Their responsibilities included policy administration, labor relations, compliance, and advising management on employee relations issues.

From July 2011 to July 2012, Jennifer served as an HR Manager at RehabCare, where they also played a vital role in the integration of two legacy enterprises following an acquisition.

Jennifer also has prior experience as an HR Generalist at RehabCare from September 2006 to June 2011, supporting a large territory of field locations and focusing on employee relations, performance management, and training and development.

Earlier in their career, they worked as an HR Coordinator at Symphony Health Services from May 2004 to September 2006, providing employee relations support and managing employee data transactions.

Jennifer started their professional journey as an HR Intern at United Cerebral Palsy from January 2004 to May 2004.

Jennifer Fisher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Psychology/Sociology from Loyola University Maryland. Jennifer also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governors University. In addition, they have obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in May 2018.
