Marcus Gutscher

Marcus Gutscher has over a decade of experience in various leadership roles in the field of analytical development and quality control. Marcus served as the Vice President of Analytical Development and Validation at Biotest AG, where they managed the department responsible for developing and validating analytical methods for testing biotherapeutics and plasma proteins. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Analytical Development and Validation. Marcus also has experience as the Head of Quality Control IMPs at Biotest AG, where they oversaw the development and validation of analytical methods for release and stability testing, as well as coordination of analytics for process and formulation development. Before joining Biotest AG, Marcus worked as a Postdoc at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center. Overall, Marcus Gutscher has a strong background in analytical development, quality control, and laboratory management.

Marcus Gutscher has a strong educational background in the field of biochemistry and biology. Marcus obtained their Doctor of Natural Sciences degree in Biochemistry from the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center in the period of 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom degree in Biology from Heidelberg University from 1999 to 2004. Marcus also had a brief period of education in the Bundeswehr in 1998. Marcus'sacademic journey began at Carl-Benz-Gymnasium Ladenburg, where they completed their Abitur degree from 1989 to 1998.
