João Correia has extensive experience in the fields of research and development, innovation management, and quality assurance. Starting as a Managing Partner at Agilus - Organização e Sistemas de Informação, Lda from March 1995 to December 2001, João served as CTO and Board Member at Agilus I+D (IAITI) from January 2002 to December 2009. Following this, the role of R&D Director was held at INOVA+ from January 2010 to August 2013. From April 2016, João has been with Biotronics3D Ltd as Innovation and Quality Manager, overseeing the implementation of the innovation strategy and managing the R&D portfolio for cloud-based medical image analysis tools. Additionally, João acts as Innovation and Quality Manager for OpenRad since November 2022. Academic qualifications include a Licentiate degree from Universidade do Minho and a post-graduation from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
