Damian Scherrer

Damian Scherrer has extensive work experience, primarily in finance and administration roles. Damian currently holds the position of VP Finance & Services - Business Unit Vascular Intervention at BIOTRONIK, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director Finance & Administration - Business Unit Vascular Intervention at BIOTRONIK from May 2021 to March 2022. Before joining BIOTRONIK, Damian was the Head of Group Accounting & Controlling at EMS Group from July 2016 to May 2021. Damian also worked at BIOTRONIK from May 2012 to June 2016, where they held the positions of Director Finance & Controlling, Vascular Intervention and Director Controlling, Vascular Intervention. Damian's earlier work experience includes various roles at Syngenta, such as Group Financial Compliance Manager, Finance Business Partner, Finance Integration Project Manager, Controller, and Financial Analyst. Damian began their career as a Business Reporting Analyst at Syngenta in January 2003.

Damian Scherrer received a Licentiate degree in Business Administration, majoring in finance, accounting, and controlling, from the University of St.Gallen between 1997 and 2002.
