Stefan Egli

Stefan Egli has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. Stefan worked at BIOTRONIK from 2016 to the present, initially as a Specialist Polymers and later transitioning to Senior and Principal Product Maintenance Engineer roles. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager in R&D at Sika from 2011 to 2016. Stefan started their career as a PhD student at the University of Basel, where they worked from 2007 to 2011.

Stefan Egli received their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemie from the University of Basel in 2007. In the same year, they also completed a Master Thesis in the Laboratory for High Performance Ceramics at EMPA. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Verfahrens- und Umwelttechnik from HTWG Konstanz in 2006. Stefan Egli's earlier education includes a Dipl. Chemiker FH degree from Zürcher Hochschule Winterthur, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. Stefan started their educational journey by obtaining a Chemielaborant qualification from ETH Zürich from 1998 to 2001.
