Chris Teague started their work experience in 2003 as an Adjunct English Professor at Northeast State Community College, where they taught collegiate writing and provided individualized support to students. Chris then worked as a Program Director and Grant Writer at Kingsport City Schools from 2004 to 2006.
In 2006, they joined James Cooper as a Sr. Director of Downstream Marketing/Client Strategy, where they contributed to marketing and client strategy. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Global Creative Strategy Director at Zimmer Biomet, leading a team responsible for branding, messaging, and market positioning in the Orthopaedics franchise.
From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Smith & Nephew, first as a Global Product Manager and then as a Global Marketing Manager, managing strategy and product development. Chris then joined Teleflex in 2020 as a Global Marketing Director, overseeing marketing initiatives until 2021.
Currently, Chris is the Director of Strategic Marketing at Bioventus, a position they started in 2021.
Chris Teague earned a Diploma from CSAS in 1998. Later, from 1998 to 2003, they attended Emory & Henry College and obtained a B.S. degree in English and Business. In 2013, they pursued an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. In 2017, they obtained a certification in MES, but no information was provided regarding the institution or month of completion.
