Michael Shassere

Michael Shassere has a strong background in IT management with experience in various industries. Michael is currently the Director of IT at BioVeritas since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Information Technology at iBio, Inc. from November 2020. In their role at iBio, Inc., they directed IT operations, supported scientists and facilities staff, and ensured cyber protection protocols. Before that, Michael worked as the Global Director - IT at Pharm-Olam, LLC from June 2006 to December 2019, where they led the Global IT Department and coordinated the integration of multiple locations. Michael was also the Director - IT at Jardine Lloyd Thompson from January 2005 to March 2006, overseeing all IT functions and successfully implementing new office infrastructures. Michael also gained experience as a Regional IT Director at USI Insurance Services from January 1994 to January 2005 and as an IT Director at Lomas Insurance Services from 1985 to 1994. As an IT Director, they provided support, implemented agency management systems, and oversaw major IT initiatives.

Michael Shassere attended Tennessee Technological University from 1980 to 1983, where they studied Computer Science. Michael then transferred to Roane State from 1983 to 1985, also focusing on Computer Science.
