Scott Backes

Scott Backes has extensive work experience in various roles within the quality control and management field. Scott is currently serving as the Quality Director at BioVeritas starting from June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Plant Manager at PRAXAIR DISTRIBUTION INC from July 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they held the position of Quality Manager at Corbion from February 2014 to January 2016. Scott also has a long history with STERIS Corporation, where they worked as a Quality Control Supervisor from November 2004 to February 2012 and as an Associate Scientist from December 2002 to November 2004. Their career started at ABC Laboratories, where they served as a Technical Scientist from May 2000 to December 2002.

Scott Backes received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completing their studies between 1992 and 1997.
