BioVersys
Marija is a microbiologist with a Ph.D. from the University of Belgrade. She has academic and industrial research experience in the discovery and development of novel anti-infective agents and therapeutic approaches against multi-resistant pathogens. After a postdoctoral fellowship in the Diseases of the Developing World division at GlaxoSmithKline in Madrid, she joined BioVersys in 2021 as a scientist working on the development of a new broad-spectrum (ESKAPE) antibiotic.
