Janean Bowen

Janean Bowen has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Janean currently holds the position of Head of Operations at BioWare. Prior to this, they worked at Zynga as the Vice President of Production for Words With Friends and as a Senior Executive Producer for With Friends. Janean also served as the Senior Director of Operations and Senior Director of People Ops at Zynga.

Before joining Zynga, Janean worked at Electronic Arts, where they held various roles, including Senior Development Director and Producer for EA Mobile Tools and Technology, Producer and Senior Development Director for StarWarsTheOldRepublic, and Director of Global Certification and Localization Testing.

Additionally, they served as an Independent Consultant at D-Wave Systems Inc., where they developed a support organization and scalable infrastructure. Janean also has experience as an Instructor of Leadership and Team Management at the Vancouver Film School.

Janean began their career at Electronic Arts as the Head of Quality Assurance and Senior Development Director, where they oversaw the quality of various game titles and managed a large team of employees.

Janean Bowen received their Certificate in Liberal Arts from Simon Fraser University from 1990 to 1993. Janean later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the same university, completing it from 1993 to 1998.
