Haley Nolen

Applied Scientist at BiOWiSH Technologies

Haley Nolen's work experience includes their role as an Applied Scientist at BiOWiSH Technologies since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the University of New Hampshire from 2017 to 2023, where they were a Graduate Student Researcher studying genetics and disease severity of the quinoa downy mildew pathogen, as well as soil microbial communities associated with quinoa and weedy relatives in New England. Haley also had a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during this time. Additionally, Haley worked at the University of Central Florida from 2014 to 2017, where they held positions as a Lead Tutor, Peer Tutor, and Peer Tutor Mentor.

Haley Nolen holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Central Florida, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Genetics at the University of New Hampshire from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Haley is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular and Evolutionary Systems Biology at the University of New Hampshire, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
