As President & CEO of the Business Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC), Tim Riordan is responsible for running all facets of the business and its related organizations — BIPAC’s Political Action Committee and Momentum Advocacy. Tim has a proven executive management track record and more than 20 years of experience in diverse industries. Tim joined BIPAC as Chief Operating Officer in 2019 and after leading the organization to its first year of profitability during the Covid pandemic, was promoted to President & CEO in November of 2020.
Prior to joining BIPAC, Tim was VP of Membership and Partnerships for the Connected Commerce Council (3C) working with small businesses around the country to ensure their access to critical digital technologies, tools, and platforms. Previously, he worked in state and local government affairs as Vice President of Client Services for Stateside Associates and Vice President of Sales and Member Loyalty for the DC Chamber of Commerce. Before entering government affairs, Tim spent over a decade in various roles in the technology sector ranging from working with non-profits on their direct response fundraising and communications plans to providing technical due diligence, asset valuation, market assessments, and investment advisory services to Global 500 companies.
He is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a B.S. in International Business and a Minor in German.
