Martin Astbury

Martin Astbury has held a variety of roles in the finance and technology industries since 2015. Martin began their career at National Australia Bank, where they held four positions between 2015 and 2018. These roles included Analyst in NAB Business EGM Support, Analyst in Trade and Working Capital Solutions, Associate in Richmond BBC, and Analyst in Global Institutional Banking (GIB) Funds and Insurance. In 2018, they founded Laneway Cups, a company that combines stylish design with sustainable products. Martin also worked as a Program Manager at Victoria University, a Business Development Specialist at CredShare, and a Business Development Manager at Practera. In 2016, they founded Upstart Academy, an EdTech platform designed to support tertiary students with virtual internship experience. Martin was also a Member of EduGrowth, and a Member of the Vocus Upstart Accelerator Program. In 2022, they will become a Senior Campaign Manager at Birchal, and a Client Engagement Manager at IE Company.

Martin Astbury attended The University of Western Australia from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Bachelor of Economics with a field of study in Business/Commerce, General. Martin also holds certifications in User Experience Design from RMIT Online, obtained in June 2022, 2017 ASU GSV Summit from ASU GSV Summit obtained in May 2017, and ICAGILE CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL from ICAgile.
