Quinn Read

Quinn (Quynh Dien) Read is a seasoned conservation professional with extensive experience in environmental policy and management. Currently serving as the Conservation Director at Bird Alliance of Oregon since July 2023, Quinn previously held the position of Oregon Policy Director at the Center for Biological Diversity from March 2020 to July 2023, and worked as the Northwest Director for Defenders of Wildlife from November 2015 to March 2020. Earlier roles include Wildlife Program Coordinator at Oregon Wild and Cleantech Challenge Project Manager at Portland State University. Quinn's academic background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) in Environmental Law from the University of San Diego School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington. Notably, Quinn managed a portfolio of startups at the University of Washington, implementing a significant Commercialization Gap Fund program.
