Drew MacDonald

Drew MacDonald has a strong background in construction and project management. Drew is currently working at Bird Construction as a Project Manager, a role they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Project Manager at the same company from March 2021 to March 2022, and as a Project Coordinator from March 2019 to March 2021.

Before joining Bird Construction, Drew worked at Wood as an Engineer In Training from May 2017 to March 2019. Drew also gained experience at Pomerleau as a Project Coordinator (Co-op) from May 2016 to September 2016, and at Amec Foster Wheeler as a Laboratory & Field Technician (Co-op) from May 2015 to December 2015.

In addition, Drew has held positions at the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, where they worked as a Project Coordinator (Summer Student) in both 2014 and 2013. Drew began their career at Sport Chek as a Sales Associate from April 2011 to August 2013.

Drew MacDonald began their education in 2012 at St. Francis Xavier University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Drew studied there until 2014. After completing their degree at St. Francis Xavier University, Drew then enrolled at Dalhousie University in 2014. Drew pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a focus on Civil Engineering. During their time at Dalhousie University, Drew also had the opportunity to participate in a co-op program. Drew successfully completed their studies at Dalhousie University in 2017, earning their Bachelor of Engineering degree with a specialization in Civil Engineering.
