Jordan Sorenson

Project Manager at Bird

Jordan Sorenson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jordan began their career as a Framing Supervisor at Iron Wood Carpentry, where they supervised the framing of residential homes in northern Alberta. Jordan then worked as a Climber and Arborist at Mike's Tree Service, where they were responsible for the safe removal of hazard trees and provided excellent customer service. Jordan also gained experience as a Junior Position at Bird Construction before joining Varcon Inc. as a Structural Associate. At Varcon, they performed structural inspections, analysis, and design work in the telecommunication industry. Jordan eventually returned to Bird Construction as a Project Coordinator and QA/QC Coordinator, and later transitioned to the role of Project Manager. In their current role, they are leading a team at a Nalcor site in Newfoundland.

Jordan Sorenson attended the University of New Brunswick from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, they also studied Technology Management & Entrepreneurship, although the field of study for this degree is not specified.
