Komadee Appasamy Caseechetty

Komadee Appasamy Caseechetty has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Komadee started their career as a Trainee at the Mauritius College of the Air in 2009. In 2011, they worked as a Trainee at Atelier D'Architecture Diagonale II in Mauritius. In 2012, they became an International Student Ambassador at Kingston University, where they were responsible for assisting international students and parents.

In 2015, Komadee joined Kappa Planning Ltd. as an Architecture Intern. Komadee'sresponsibilities included conducting surveys, making CAD drawings, and assisting other architects. Komadee also gained knowledge of planning policies and regulations.

Komadee's next role was as a Collaboratrice d'Architecte D\u00e9butante at L'ATELIER architectes & ing\u00e9nieurs. Here, they worked closely with the company director, designing architectural plans, preparing presentations, and participating in bidding processes.

In 2018, they joined Visio as an Architectural Designer. As a team lead, Komadee worked on various projects, including amusement park development, residential and commercial complex development, and the headquarters of Africa Re. Komadee'sresponsibilities included project planning, organizing workloads, attending meetings, and communicating with clients and contractors.

Most recently, Komadee worked at Bird Construction starting in 2019. Komadee initially served as a Proposal Coordinator, responsible for managing and coordinating proposals. Later, they were promoted to Proposal Manager, overseeing the proposal process. Currently, they hold the role of Design Coordinator.

Throughout their career, Komadee has gained expertise in architectural design, project management, client communication, and team leadership, often utilizing software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and Sketchup.

Komadee Appasamy Caseechetty completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management in Construction from Kingston University from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, Caseechetty pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Hons) degree in Architecture from the same university. In 2011, Caseechetty also studied ACCA Level 1 at the London College Of Accountancy. Before tertiary education, Caseechetty attended Queen Elizabeth College, Mauritius, from 2009 to 2010, where they completed A levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, French, and GP. Additionally, Caseechetty completed their high school education at Ebene State Secondary School (Girls) from 2004 to 2009, obtaining GCSE O Levels in subjects including Maths, Physics, Art and Design.

In terms of additional certifications, in December 2022, Caseechetty obtained a certification titled "34 Things to Know about Carbon and Climate" from LinkedIn. The institution offering this certification was LinkedIn.
