Maricris Tapiceria

Maricris Tapiceria, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. Maricris started their career in 2013 as an Accounts Payable Clerk for the Government of Manitoba, where they were responsible for providing financial and administrative services. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Accountant at MNP, gaining experience in financial entries, investigations, and developing technical skills in various areas of accounting. Maricris then advanced to the position of Senior Accountant at MNP from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they joined MNP LLP as a Manager, Assurance Services, leading multiple client engagement teams and providing advice on accounting issues. In 2019, they transitioned to Bird Construction, first as a Corporate Accounting Manager and currently working as an Assistant Controller.

Maricris Tapiceria, CPA began their education in 2009 at Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. After completing their secondary education in 2010, they enrolled in the University of Manitoba. From 2010 to 2016, Maricris pursued their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree in Accounting. In 2016, they furthered their education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), focusing on Accounting.
