Shane Meers

Shane Meers has a diverse work experience in project coordination and estimation. Shane started their career as a Junior Project Coordinator at Cyntech in 2010 and continued in the same role until 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Project Coordinator Co-op Student at the City of Edmonton. Shane then joined Bird Construction in 2013 as a Project Coordinator and held this position until 2017. Shane subsequently became an Estimator at Bird Construction from 2017 to 2018 before returning to the company as a Project Coordinator in 2018. Shane is currently employed at Bird Construction as a Senior Project Coordinator, a role they have held since 2022.

Shane Meers pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering Coop from the University of Alberta. Shane attended the university from 2008 to 2013, which marked their educational journey in the field of Civil Engineering. Alongside their formal education, they also obtained additional certifications in Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) and Python Data Structures from edX in February 2022.
