Elmar Burke

Elmar Burke is a seasoned frontend engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Lead Frontend Engineer at MessageBird since January 2019, Elmar has also held the position of Senior Frontend Engineer within the same company. Prior to this role, Elmar was a Lead Frontend Engineer at Blendle from January 2017 to December 2018 and worked as Trainer und Berater at Symetics from May 2014 to December 2016, specializing in JavaScript on both server and client sides with AngularJS and Node.js. Elmar gained initial experience as an OpenData intern at Stadt Moers and completed an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade at Technik Center Alpen GmbH. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in E-Government from Hochschule Rhein-Waal and Fachhochschulreife from Mercator Berufskolleg.
