Bird Conservancy of the Rockies
Jennifer Timmer is a highly experienced research scientist currently employed at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies since October 2017, where Jennifer also serves as a Conservation Delivery Biologist. Prior to this, Jennifer worked as a Research Assistant at the CSU NREL, North Central Climate Science Center, conducting climate vulnerability assessments for bird species. Jennifer holds a PhD in Ecology from Colorado State University and a Master's degree in Wildlife, Fish, and Wildlands Science and Management from Texas Tech University. Jennifer's diverse experience includes roles at the Colorado Division of Wildlife, Texas Tech University, US Geological Survey, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, focusing on various wildlife conservation and research efforts, including studies on sagebrush avifauna, mule deer, puma populations, and bobcat habitat selection.
