Rogier M.E. van den Heuvel has a diverse range of work experience. From February 2020 to June 2020, they worked as a Student Consultant for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on facilitating meaningful youth participation in the Middle East, North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa. From January 2022 to August 2022, they were an Research Assistant at the Institute for Environmental Studies in Amsterdam, where they conducted research on the economic value of nature in Zuid-Limburg and analyzed the environmental benefits and costs of different land uses. Currently, Rogier is the Associate Business Development Manager for the EMEA & APAC regions at Bird Control Group. In this role, they are responsible for representing the company and its products to reseller teams, building partnerships, and managing multicultural clients and resellers in emerging, frontier, and developed markets.
Rogier M.E. van den Heuvel has a diverse education history starting from their high school education at Segbroek College, where they pursued a degree in Economie & Maatschappij from 2010 to 2016. Rogier M.E. then went on to Leiden University, where they focused on International Studies with a specialization in Europe from 2017 to 2020. In 2019, they participated in an exchange semester at Thammasat University's Faculty of Economics. Continuing their academic journey, Rogier pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, in 2021 and 2022, they simultaneously obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environment and Resources Management from the same university.
