Doug Miller

Doug Miller is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical and electronics hardware engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Bird Gard LLC since March 2020, Doug has also been an Electrical Engineering Consultant at Fortaleza LLC since December 2003, where Doug has contributed to several Fortune 500 product releases. Previous roles include Associate Technical Fellow and Principal Electrical Engineer at Insitu Inc, where Doug led significant development projects, and Electrical/Hardware Engineer Consultant at Carbon Design Group, working with major clients such as Microsoft and General Dynamics. Doug's background encompasses a range of industries, including military and aerospace systems, with proven leadership in designing complex electronic subsystems with exceptional quality outcomes. Educational qualifications include a BSEE from Seattle Pacific University, with additional certifications in RF and antenna design from Besser Associates.
