Shabaz Mullalkar

Shabaz Mullalkar has a diverse work experience in software engineering and technical sales. Shabaz started their career as a Technical Sales Engineer at Advance Cooling Towers Pvt. Ltd., where they were responsible for sales, service, and installation of cooling towers. Shabaz gained expertise in selecting suitable cooling towers based on specific conditions and preparing quotations using CRM software.

Shabaz then transitioned to software engineering and joined Masai School as a Full Stack Developer Trainee. There, they learned and practiced MERN Stack, Data Structures, and Algorithms.

Shabaz continued their career as an SDE-I Front-end Engineer at Eduvanz, where they played a crucial role in rebuilding the company's website using next.js technology. Shabaz developed important sections of the website, including the homepage and post-login sections with payment gateway and NACH integration.

Shabaz's next role was as a Software Engineer - Front-end at inai (YC S21). Shabaz contributed to features like Checkout Regionalization and UI improvements on the dashboard. Shabaz also worked on the Subscription Portal, planning its implementation with team leads and developing authentication and reusable components.

Shabaz then joined foundit as a Software Engineer, focusing on the frontend part of websites. Their major contribution was to the Mpowersearch project, where they conducted root cause analysis and resolved production issues promptly. Shabaz delivered new features according to PRD, with notable achievements such as optimizing the Send Email process for recruiters and creating a multi-step form and predefined email template that led to a higher response rate from candidates.

Shabaz's current position is as a Software Frontend Engineer at Birdeye, which began in 2023.

Shabaz Mullalkar attended BLDEAs College of Engineering & Technology in Bijapur from 2013 to 2017. Shabaz pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering during their time at the institution.
