Vishnu Karmarkar

Vishnu Karmarkar has over 18 years of work experience in the field of quality engineering and software testing. Vishnu is currently employed as a Lead SDET at Birdeye since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at IDEMIA as a QA Lead from March 2022 to April 2023, where they led the Quality Engineering team in the R&D unit of Augmented Identity security products and collaborated with German counterparts to deliver high-quality products.

From October 2015 to March 2022, Vishnu served as an Associate Test Lead, Web App Security Professional, and SCRUM Master at VIPRE Security Group. Vishnu further gained experience as an Associate Test Lead and SCRUM Master at Inspired eLearning, LLC. from July 2012 to September 2015.

Before that, Vishnu worked as a Sr. QA Engineer at Xpanxion International Pvt. Ltd. from October 2009 to February 2012. Vishnu also held the position of Software Engineer-QA at FirstRain from June 2007 to September 2009 and worked as a Software Testing Engineer at eLuminous Technologies from June 2006 to May 2007.

Vishnu's work experience began in 2005 with a role as a Software Engineer at indbazar, where they gained valuable experience and developed their skills.

Vishnu Karmarkar's education history is as follows:

Vishnu completed a Certified Web Application Security Professional (CWASP™) program at the Institute of Information Security (IIS) in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from SCRUM Alliance, specializing in Computer Software Engineering, which they completed from 2016 to 2018.

In 2015, Vishnu acquired an Associate's Degree from the ISTQB Certification Institute, with a focus on Testing/Quality Assurance. Vishnu also obtained a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the SCRUM Alliance.

In 2006, Vishnu completed a CST (Certified Software Tester) program at SQTL-Software Quality Catalyst. Furthermore, in 2002, Vishnu earned a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree from IBMR, Chinchwad, Pune University, specializing in Computer Applications. Vishnu also received a Diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking (DHN) from ITG, Pune in 2003.

Vishnu's educational background also includes a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree from HAL College of Science.
