Ben Paddock

Ben Paddock has a diverse work experience in software development. Ben is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at Birdie, a home healthcare technology platform. Prior to this, Ben worked at The Economist, where they contributed to the re-architecture of the company's content platform and also worked on the web team. Ben has also worked as a Technical Lead at The Market (Patina Classics Ltd).

Before joining The Economist, Ben had a long tenure at Talis, where they served as a Senior Software Developer. Ben was involved in developing products for higher education institutions, including Talis Elevate. Ben also contributed to the rewrite of a legacy application.

Earlier in their career, Ben worked at Res:Harmonics as a Front-end Developer, where they developed a single page application to replace an existing Adobe Flex application. Ben also implemented REST APIs and server-side logic. Ben also worked at New Media Education Ltd as a Front-end Developer, where they played a key role in improving the medical education website, Meducation, through redesign and iterative design improvements.

Ben's early career includes positions at BT, where they worked as a Web Application Developer for Osmosoft and later as a Web Application Developer and Unified Communications Software Developer. Ben worked on various projects, including TiddlySpace, BT Enterprise Repository, and integrating a BT voice platform into the Ribbit platform.
